Sympathy and the Power of Friendship

Sympathy and the power of friendship is a paired interaction system designed to encourage activity between partners or best friends. It affects the acquisition of both shared and individual experience points, and also unlocks additional visual effects.

Daily Progress

Each day, a pair or best friends receive a task to dance together. To reach 50% sympathy or friendship level, you need to complete 5 dances per day to gain 1% progress. After reaching 50%, the requirement increases to 10 dances per day for the same 1% progress.

The daily progress can be formally described as follows:

ΔS={1%,S<50% and at least 5 dances have been played,1%,S50% and at least 10 dances have been played,0%,the daily condition has not been met.

where S is the current level of sympathy or friendship.

Progress Loss Due to Inactivity

If more than 4 days have passed since the last joint dance, the level of sympathy or friendship decreases by 2% at 00:00 Moscow time.

Snext=Scurrent2%

The profile displays the time of the last paired dance and the number of dances for the day. Red text indicates a risk of progress loss in the next 00:00 MSK (Moscow Standard Time). Green text means that playing at least one joint dance is sufficient to maintain the current level. If the daily condition is fully completed, the next percentage will be awarded after completing the required number of dances, and new progress will become available after 00:00 MSK.

Once 50% sympathy or friendship has been accumulated, it becomes “safe” for 30 days. After this period, percentages can again decrease due to inactivity.

Bonuses and Effects

As sympathy or friendship levels increase, players receive additional multipliers for both individual and paired experience points. The visual effects of the pair also improve.

At the maximum level of sympathy, the paired bonus coefficient from artifacts is multiplied by 2. For individual experience, a different principle applies: the paired coefficient from the partner level is multiplied by 1.5.

Paired experience can be expressed by the following formula:

Epair=B×(A×Sm)×R

where Epair is the total paired experience, B is the base experience per song, A is the bonus and artifact coefficient, Sm is the sympathy multiplier, and R is the server rate.

For example, for a song lasting 4 minutes, the base value is 240 points. If the sum of the artifact coefficients is 2.4, the sympathy level is maximum (giving a multiplier of 2.0), and the paired experience server rate is 3, the calculation would be:

Epair=240×(2.4×2.0)×3=3456

Individual experience is calculated using the formula:

Epersonal=Edance×(1+Mclub+Mpair)×Mcoupon

where Edance is the experience gained from the dance, taking into account server rates, Mclub is the club multiplier, Mpair is the partner multiplier, and Mcoupon is the coupon multiplier.

The multipliers are determined as follows:

Mclub=Lclub20 Mpair=Lpair40×F(S)

where Lclub is the club level, Lpair is the partner level, and F(S) is the sympathy function.

Conclusion

The sympathy and friendship system encourages regular joint play. It connects daily activity, protection of accumulated progress, visual effects, and experience growth into a single mechanic for developing a pair or friendly alliance.
